The Vibroclone Amp

The picture above shows my Vibroclone Amp built during spring 2001. Inspired by several people on the Internet, I ventured
to build my own copy of the famous-but-hard-to-find blackface Vibroverb Amp. My clone is based on a 1968 Bandmaster
Reverb chassis that has been blackface'd and modified to mimic the original Vibroverb electronic circuits. The chassis was
put into a vintage-correct custom built cabinet originally loaded with a Weber C15CA 15" speaker (right now I'm trying out
a JBL D130F speaker). To allow for a better bass response than the original Vibroverb, the amp has been equipped with a
paper-on-bobbin custom output transformer. To top it off, a custom-made "Vibroclone Amp" black faceplate was added.

Below are some pictures of my Vibroclone. Enjoy!
